Lafarge North America Launches Innovative And User-Friendly Website


North America's largest building material supplier, Lafarge North America, expanded the Company's online presence today with the launch of its redesigned, user-friendly website, This change demonstrates Lafarge's dedication to innovation and ingenuity in every aspect of the Company.


"We recognize that the commercial platform and end users in the building industry are changing. With LEED® and sustainable construction, more people are trying to understand how building materials and the building industry can help them achieve their business objectives," said Sylvain Garnaud, president of cement for Lafarge North America. "The new website demonstrates Lafarge's commitment to work with those changes and ensure that our online resources are relevant and accessible."


In an effort to improve usability, Lafarge implemented best practices from across the Web including advanced navigation, RSS feeds, podcasts and videos. Users, from government authorities and design professionals to the average homeowner, can obtain educational information on specific building materials and how each Lafarge product can optimize their project. The site is also bilingual and will feature content in French to meet the needs of our Canadian customers.
