The Kicking Horse Canyon portion of the Trans-Canada Highway is a vital gateway to British Columbia.  The Park Bridge, which opened in 2007, has a 405 m (1,329 ft) main span with five piers, the tallest of which measures 90 m (295 ft).  Lafarge's ready mix customer in Golden supplied the concrete, which contains Lafarge Type GU cement and fly ash, for this outstanding structure.
