Aggregates include a full line of graded stone in various sizes, as well as concrete and masonry sand, gravel, and slag aggregates. Lafarge provides aggregates for a broad range of construction applications including projects that require specialized performance characteristics and delivery logistics.

How Are Aggregates Used?

Aggregates have many uses, such as in a mix-with either cement to make concrete or tar to make asphalt-and in the manufacture of roads, bridges, buildings, and other structures. Aggregates are also used as railway ballast, as fill material, and as playing-field surfaces, such as in golf course sand traps and horse racing tracks.
