The Lafarge PozzBlend proprietary blends offer concrete masonry block manufacturers numerous performance advantages, including increased early and later strengths, improved workability, reduced shrinkage and breakage, and uniform block density.

Lafarge PozzBlend Type I provides one-day PSI strengths equal to, or better than, ordinary portland cement Type I.  Lafarge PozzBlend Type III provides one-day PSI strengths equal to, or better than, ordinary portland cement Type III.

Both types offer performance and value without the need to invest in additional storage space.  Each conforms to ASTM C 1157, Standard Performance Specification for Hydraulic Cement, GU (General Use).  Actual performance is dependent on customer’s specific aggregates, portland cement, and curing conditions.
